1. Introduction
Panda Apps is the developer and service provider for a family of applications. This Privacy Policy explains how Panda Apps may process information in connection with those applications and related services.
Data practices vary by application and feature. An app that works offline may process information only on your device, while an app with accounts or online features may send information to a service when needed to provide the requested functionality. The applicable app store listing, in-app notices, and permission prompts may provide additional information for a particular app.
We do not sell personal information. We use information for the purposes described here and do not make broader claims about a particular app than its features support.
2. Information We May Process
Depending on the application and features you use, we may process the following categories:
- Account information: such as an email address, account identifier, profile information, or authentication information when an app supports accounts.
- App content and user-generated data: such as preferences, saved items, settings, activity, or content you intentionally provide to a feature.
- Location information: only where needed for an app feature and subject to your device permissions. It may be processed locally or sent to a service when necessary for the requested functionality.
- Health and fitness information: where an application explicitly provides health or fitness features and you grant the required permissions, the app may process relevant activity, fitness, wellness, or health-related information to provide those features and related purposes disclosed in the policy. Not every Panda Apps application processes health or fitness information.
- Device and technical information: such as app version, device type, operating system, diagnostics, crash information, or identifiers provided by a platform or SDK service.
- Usage and analytics information: where analytics is enabled for the app, such as interactions, feature use, and performance information.
- Advertising-related information: where an app displays advertising, advertising providers may process information needed to deliver, measure, or personalize ads according to their settings and policies.
- Purchase and subscription information: distribution platforms such as Google Play, Apple App Store, Cafe Bazaar, Myket, or similar platforms may process the transaction. Panda Apps generally receives purchase or entitlement information needed to provide the purchased feature, not full payment-card credentials.
- Push notification information: such as a device or push-notification token where notifications are enabled.
- Cloud or server data: some apps and features may use backend or cloud infrastructure for accounts, synchronization, backups, subscriptions, notifications, AI processing, or other online functionality.
3. How We Use Information
Depending on the app and feature, we may use information to:
- provide requested app functionality and maintain user accounts;
- sync or back up data where the app offers those features;
- verify app entitlements and subscriptions;
- send notifications you enable;
- maintain security and prevent abuse or fraud;
- diagnose crashes and errors and improve reliability and performance;
- measure usage where applicable analytics is enabled;
- respond to support requests; and
- comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
4. Third-Party Services
Depending on the application and enabled features, we may use or integrate services such as Google AdMob, Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics, other Firebase services, Google Play services, Apple platform or App Store services, Supabase, Cafe Bazaar, Myket, other app distribution platforms, backend or cloud infrastructure providers, and AI or cloud-processing providers.
These providers may process information on our behalf or as independent providers according to their own privacy policies, terms, and contractual roles. Individual Panda Apps applications do not necessarily use every provider listed above. Advertising providers may receive information needed for advertising and measurement; we do not state that they receive no information.
5. Permissions
An individual application may request a device permission only when it is needed for a feature. Depending on that feature, examples may include location, camera, photos or media, notifications, microphone, health or fitness data, or other device permissions.
You can generally review, manage, or revoke permissions through your device settings. Revoking a permission may prevent the related feature from working.
6. Data Security
Where data is sent over a network, we use reasonable measures such as encryption in transit. Where applicable, access controls are used on backend infrastructure. The specific safeguards depend on the application, service, and provider.
No system or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should use a strong, unique password where an app supports passwords and keep your device and account information secure.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Retention depends on the type of data, the application and feature, legal requirements, security requirements, and whether you maintain an account.
- Account-related data may be retained while an account remains active or while needed to provide account features.
- User-generated or cloud data may be retained while needed to provide the requested service.
- Data stored solely on your device remains there until you delete it, clear app data, uninstall the app, or otherwise remove it, subject to platform behavior and the feature involved.
- Some diagnostic or security records may be retained for a limited period.
- Purchase or subscription records and identifiers may be retained when necessary for entitlement verification, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, or legal and regulatory requirements.
- Data needed for legal, security, or fraud-prevention obligations may be retained for the period reasonably necessary for those purposes.
When an account or data deletion request is completed, we delete or anonymize personal data that is no longer required. Backups, logs, or records subject to a legal or security need may not be removed immediately.
8. Account and Data Deletion
Users of Panda Apps applications that support accounts can request deletion of their account and associated personal data. Where supported, deletion can be initiated in the app through Profile, Settings, Account, or an equivalent account-management screen.
We also provide a public external method at Account and Data Deletion. The page is available without logging in or installing an app and explains how to submit a request to support@pandaappofficial.com.
When we complete an account deletion request, we delete the personal data associated with that account, except for data we are required or permitted to retain for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, transaction, accounting, dispute-resolution, or legal/regulatory purposes. Backups, logs, or retained records may not be removed immediately. Temporary account deactivation is not the same as account deletion.
If you do not have an account but believe an app may hold server-associated data about you, you may use the external deletion method and provide the application name and any non-sensitive information reasonably needed to locate the relevant data.
9. Local / On-Device Data
Some app data may remain exclusively on your device. Depending on the platform and feature, deleting an item within the app, clearing app storage, uninstalling the app, or operating-system behavior may remove locally stored data.
Locally stored data is different from server- or account-associated data. Removing the app or clearing local storage does not necessarily delete information already associated with an online account or service; use the deletion method above for that request.
10. Children's Privacy
Specific Panda Apps applications may have their own age requirements. We do not make a universal claim that every application is directed to children. We will follow legal requirements applicable to children and ask that users provide information only where they are permitted to do so.
11. International Processing
Because Panda Apps may use international cloud, platform, or service providers, information may be processed in countries other than your country where applicable. We take steps required by applicable law and use appropriate safeguards when required.
12. User Choices and Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction and the functionality of the app, you may be able to access or update account information, revoke device permissions, manage advertising choices through platform or provider controls, request deletion, or contact us with a privacy question. We will handle requests according to applicable law and may need information to verify and locate the relevant account or data.
13. Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as our applications, features, providers, or legal obligations change. We will update the “Last updated” date. Where appropriate, we may also provide notice in an application or through the website. Nothing in an update removes rights or consent requirements that apply under law.
